How the h*** do I clean the luggage cover?

Featured Replies

My Superb Combi, like most, if not all others, has a black luggage cover. I use the car to carry all sorts of things   and bought a luggage compartment protector  as soon as I bought the car. However the cover is always marking, often it's from my dirty hands after loading up a pile of rubbish for the tip or something from the allotment.

I've tried damp rags and I've also used back to black/silicon type stuff but the cover always looks grubby   - can anyone help?

Sorry its Rubber and Vinyl CARE not cleaner. Apparently my parcel shelf doesn't get cleaned it gets cared for...

A general all purpose cleaner, a soft brush or two to get into right into it, plenty of microfibres, tackle it in sections rather than all in one go and apply a protectant (I use 303 Aerospace, leave to dry in a little and then gently wipe and pat down).
