They tell me the cambelt change interval is 80k on the two litre diesel whereas it's 125 k on the mondeo, that's a significant difference and cost as I intend to do high mileage in it

2.0 170CR is 180K km or 111K miles for the cambelt.  Some say its every four years regardless of mileage but that's been debated here before so we won't go into that again!.  If you're doing big mileage the four years mightn't  be an issue for you anyway
