I have seen many posts from people that seem to know exactly where their new car is. How do people know it's stuck in Emden for two weeks, on a ferry to England or being damaged while unloading at Grimsby?

My dealer has kept me informed, but there's only two possible locations for my car: with me, or not with me.

Currently it's not with me.

If your dealer is too quiet, you can just call SUK with your SLI number if it's desperate.

Easy way is call Skoda uk, tell them your name and the name of the car dealer where you ordered it from... they will give you your SLI Number & will tell you where in the chain your car is... most of us only got build dates 2 weeks before it was built.. all depends what Octy you have ordered

It's pretty strange. Ordered our new O3 Estate - and that's with the panoramic roof - week 6. Promised build-week is 13, and my most recent update (this wed) confirms it. Makes me wonder if the right-hand steering wheel might be the real culprit?
