They do get back to you fairly promptly too on once you sign up.  Our cars are becoming more like laptops now!

Great to see "something" free gratis from a dealership  :clap:

Not too disappointed with result. English with family roots in Athenry. Very close to getting the 50 point lead against the French. Do you know if we can have this in England? Not seen it advertised.

Skoda, Ireland have thanked me for registering and will let me know if an update is due once they have checked.

Details entered into Skoda Ireland's website (unlikely to work on a UK car but worth a shot) and an email sent to Skoda UK

You get this automated reply when you register, I don't think you are going to get a reply from a person in Skoda Ireland today 

Could be right there me thinks.

Hi all Skoda UK contacted me today, the updates are for maps and only available in ROI, UK will nor be following and the ROI will not be allowed to deal with UK cars. Oh well that answers the question.

If something seems too good to be true then it probably is... C'est la vie.

How sad never mind.

Got my "contact your dealer for for a product upgrade" email today. I must find out what exactly they are going to upgrade. Also includes the usual the usual "free vehicle check" on the car. 

You get this automated reply when you register, I don't think you are going to get a reply from a person in Skoda Ireland today 

 

I have had a reply. "We are not able to find your car from the registration details. Could you please supply your VIN number?"

 

That's me stuffed then as I think they will notice that I live outside of Ireland.  

That's a pity but it was worth a try.

Perhaps we should ALL contact Skoda UK and send a  "what's going on - if this can be offered in Ireland, why not here ?"  email ?
