Hi, I sold my Golf 2l GT yesterday on a 04 plate and bought a Skoda Fabia MK2 Vrs. Green with black wheels and climatronic. Stunning car to drive. I am trying to be sensible (I am 41) but that roar when you put your foot down is magic. This truely is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Issues - Both bonnet and boot badge are tatty and need replacing.

Questions - 98 Ron fuel over 95Ron? (I will look on forum).

Any way, already found lots on here so thank you all, whether you be posters, or followers.

Tesco Momentum 99 for me.  My CRX is noticeably flatter on anything else.

Hi Folks. Yes, I find that Tesco Momentum 99 works well in the car. I have owned it for just under a year now and have the following observations:

 

Oil - It sure does use it, I am not unhappy about this as my petrol returns are very good for a car with this performance, the main issue is remembering to check it!

 

Auto box - I mooch about mainly in drive, the paddles are handy if you want to boot it and don't want the car stumbling (foot down, down a gear, oh wait, he REALLY wants to go, down another gear, etc etc) and sports mode is comically fast when you just want to crack on!

Sat nav - The only things my car lacks is sat nav and phone prep, really tempting to upgrade the head unit but the going price seems to be about £500 so not sure.

 

My car is quite unusual in that its green without the black roof. I quite like that because its a bit understated. I also like when people confuse me for a Monte Carlo and then embarrass themselves when they try to pass in their Citreon Saxo's
