Rear parking sensor options?

Featured Replies

Im looking for options on rear parking sensors? I dont want the ones where the wires trail out of the boot, but im also not into cuting holes in my bumper. Ive not enquired about having them fitted professionally but would consdier it given the price is right. Any ideas please?

I fitted a ebay set to mine (you do have to drill holes into the bumper but they are already marked in place on the inside of the bumper) i painted & fitted them myself, total cost £20.

..£20 sounds like a bargain...where they easy to fit....I am looking at buying a 2nd hand Octy, and the dealer quoted me £280!!!

I found them easy to fit,i had a aerosol made up of the correct colour paint & painted them myself, they are only the basic type that make a noise & are not a flush fit,the dealer ones will be a flush fit & may be linked to your stereo display. They do the job fine for me.  :)

I fitted the rac ones to the wife's A3 and they are SH£?E ! I bought one of the number plate surrounds off eBay for £30 and it is excellent (my previous RS6 and A6 had parking sensors and these are as good ). Easy to fit as well.
