Large holes in boot

Featured Replies

Your local Skoda dealer would be an excellent start, probably a couple of quid each...

The holes shouldnt be there, you should have some gromets there but a skoda dealer will be the best bet

Are you the owner from new? If not maybe the previous owner had a bootwell full of water and decided to remove these to let the water out. Common fault on the Octavia, bad boot seals, leaking rear wash pipe etc..

If the holes are 20 or 25mm you can grab a couple of blind grommets from any electrical wholesalers for a few pence each if that.

As said by someone else suspect removed to let water out.

Thanks chaps. Weirdly enough, I do have a leak somewhere on the boot lid. I suspect nearside upper corner, not much, but the boot carpet had a few droplets of water on it after I washed it yesterday...

If they are the same size as the ones to the rear if the boot area on the vertical part (where the parking sensor & towbar wires come in) then I pretty sure I have one in my garage and another going spare soon as I'll be fitting a towbar.

If you can check and they are, I'll send them across to you when I have both out.
