New from Inverness

Featured Replies

Hi,

My name is Dave, I look after an octavia estate 4x4 1.9tdi, owned from new in 2005, only 65000 miles, but highland weather, and roads, pay their toll after nine years. I can appreciate general wear and tear but why do the wheel backing plates deteriorate so quickly? I've had replacements to each wheel twice and two wheels are on their third. The plates only cost about £10 but, of course, the brake assembly has to be removed to fit them. An hour labour and £80+ short! Arnold Clark rates.

Have you got on OK with AC in the Past.
