I`m looking at this on Ebay because I want a replica or lookalike WRC spoiler for my MK1 Octy.  I`m not fussed if it's not an official spoiler as I don`t want to pay through the nose for one.  But the description doesn`t add upto the photos.

You have probably been asked this before. But is this spoiler definitely for a Mk2 Octavia VRS? Because the photos you have uploaded are the Mk1 Octavia VRS.

I would suggest the seller don't know what he is talking about and probably don't even know the difference to a MK1 and MK2 as they will not fit each others boot..

 

secondly I would guess that he does mean a MK1 as that spoiler was never made for a MK2

 

Thirdly I would not even like to think what spoiler you are actually going to get as all 3 pictures show a different spoiler design.

 

So he is clearly using some random pics to sell what ever he has.

 

I would ask the seller to send you actual pics of what he has to be safe...

There's a red octy on eBay with a wrc spoiler on might be worth to send message and ask see if u can get as whole or just spoiler!!! Just type octavia vrs breaking and popped up in pics....

I have one but it's attached to my tailgate and I'm looking for swap with bit cash my way!! But tailgate has to be black!

That's true and they were all MK1 Octavia ones.

 

The only different to each of them was height of the top section so they all still fit the MK1 boot.

 

I very much doubt that the seller means that as the pic number 2 is not a EVO spoiler, but some advert for chavist lego car kit.

 

so i doubt very much seller know what the EVO range is .... 

The funny thing is...

All three pictures seem to be VERY different spoilers. Especially the difference between the 1st and 2nd. The 2nd might be close to the 3rd, but the sides look a different shape.

The poor tool selling it cant know what he has, and obviously cant take a photo of it...

perhaps its still attached the car it will be "liberated" from for shipping to the successful bidder....................

WTF.  I`m glad you put those pics up on here.  That spoiler looks out of shape and crap...

I mean I want a replica wrc spoiler because I can`t afford or even find an official one.  But £85 for that!!! :/

I`ve been looking at superskoda but after all the postage, import taxes and charges it ends up quite a lot and you have to then wait for 2 weeks + for shipping.   Does anyone know if there are any actual body shops in the UK that sell replica WRC spoilers for the MK1??

They seem a good shop.

That spoiler is the same I have which is a one piece. It is made by kopac I think and same as what superskoda , mc tuning and other similar body panel accessory shops sell. It is the best none genuine wrc spoiler you will find. You may need to fill it and rub it down like any other none genuine body panel. But will look good in the end.
