P/N for Haldex oil and filter

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the part number for the haldex oil and filter for the Yeti?

Mines due soon and just wondered if anyone has had it done and could check on there receipt or has ETKA.

I know that on the gen 1 haldex the part number is GO52175A1 and the filter is 02D525558A ( washer and sump plug  is 02D525655/02D525729)

just checking whether they use the same oil across the whole haldex range.

Thankyou.

I don't know the part number, but I'm pretty sure it's only oil you need. My service book says "Change oil of Haldex coupling" at 60,000km, I also know there is a special flexi pipe for doing the job, one end screws into the casing and the Haldex oil container goes on the other.

What year is your car and do you know if it has a Haldex 2 or 4. My 2011MY Octavia 4X4 has the Haldex 4 which needs different oil to the Haldex 2 and does not have a replaceable filter.

The part number for 1 litre of 'High-performance oil for Haldex coupling' is G 055 175 A2.

This should not be confused with 'Axle oil for rear axle differential' - ie the gear oil used in the 'rear final drive 0BR' - for which the part number is G 052 145 S2 (optional G 052 145 A1). The filling quantity is 925ml.

Yeti's only came with Haldex 4, and now 5.

Its a 2010 yeti, sounds like its different oil to the oil I put in my gen 1 Mk4 R32?

Correct. The two Haldex oils are not interchangeable nor can they be mixed.

I'm told it's a sod of a job without the correct top-up bottle kit that Skoda dealers have. Getting the oil level right is critical.

I've given up and am getting my dealer to do it. They've quoted £59 inc. the oil & VAT - which seems reasonable to me.

(And there's no filter on Yetis)

Cheers John and at £59 I would get my dealer to do it too, as the oils in the region of £45.

Mine wants £100 as an estimate!

I agree that that sounds a good price for the job.

Do you still get a free bottle of oil in the boot?  My Outdoor 4x4 doesn't have one but my previous Greenline did.

I don't think I've ever heard of dealers giving away oil for the Haldex system,I think you may be confusing it with engine oil?

Yeah, sorry, it was engine oil (which I never used and handed over at trade-in) but it was conspicuous by its absence in the FL.

Nothing in mine!

Got your mudflaps yet Kev? Mine got wet yesterday and I couldn't believe the mud all over the sides. 'Twas never like this with the 110.

PS what colour are your mirrors? :hi:

Going in Thursday Fred, they are going to fit the mud flaps they have, but they think they are a bit small will see how they look, just ordered some rally flaps to fix to the mud flaps to extend them front and back, and it should be coming home with different colour mirror covers ;)  :giggle:

Excellent! If the rear mudflaps are the same as one Colin showed me they'll be useless! They were about 3inches long!

Your rally flaps sound interesting, mine certainly needs something. Pictures please when fitted.

My mirror covers are silver but I like them. :hi:

Colin was supposed to phone me yesterday to let me know about fitting towbar and mudflaps, he's nothing if not consistent no  *****y phone call.  :wall:
