If I were to buy a 1 year old car from a non authorised dealer such as Motorpoint would Skoda still honour the remaining two years of the three year warranty or is that only if you buy from a Skoda dealer ?

Of course, the warranty is with the vehicle and remains so until the end of it's warranty period.
