My hatch TSI 2.0 vRS has finally arrived at the dealer's. I'll be picking it up on Friday or Monday the latest.

I noticed, however, that it is missing the little roof antenna (located at the back of the roof).

Does anyone know if the antenna is part of some additional equipment (canton audio system or navigation perhaps) cause it wasn't an option?

I have the regular bolero audio system speced without navigation.

I think the antenna is in the back window, hence no roof aerial...

The little shark fin aerial is for sat nav and/or Bluetooth+.

+1 you'll only have the Sharkfin if you have nav and/or bluetooth + as the unit provides the infotainments GPS and GSM connectivity.

On the hatch the FM and DAB antennas are the top couple of lines in the heated rear screen (hence they dont actually demist the top part of the screen), on the estate they are in the rear 3/4 windows, one side FM and DAB, the other the secondary FM aerial.
