Hi all,

 

I am awaiting delivery of my new Octavia VRS Estate which is to be my new tow car to allow myself and my Son to tow our sprint and hill climb car (Scimitar Sabre) to events.

 

Car was ordered in November last year so its been a longer than expected wait. Our first event is in 2 weeks so hoping it arrives in time. Dealer is fitting a removable tow bar when it arrives.

 

Car is white with the following options,; full leather with red stitching, winter pack (heated seats, windscreen and nozzles), cruise control and spacesaver wheel.

 

This car will replace my existing Superb Estate of the 3.6 V6 4x4 flavour   What a car! a real wolf in sheeps clothing. I've had my fun and its time to move it on to someone else (I will be posting an ad later today)

 

Whilst not new to forums I am new to this one. I may think about fitting a plug in chip to the VRS which may assist with towing?

If anyone has any advice or comments they would be appreciated.

Quite a change from the V6 then!!

You don't say the new vRS is Petrol or Diesel
