carburator dish

Featured Replies

hi, i own a skoda felicia, i would like to know how to remove the carrburator dish ? the black one

you have to be more precise than 'the black dish'.

the only black things resembling to a 'dish' would be:

- the pull-down mechanism.1

- the 2nd stage vacuum unit 2

no i mean the black carburator dish above the carburator , how do i remove it ?

because i need to install a sponge air filter...

4 nuts and 6 clamps... :wall:

The 'dish' is called air filter housing or box. To open it you'll have to remove the top cover nuts (4) and to release all the clamps around the edge. Now we'll have to figure out what is the 'sponge' air filter.

no, i mean how to remove it completely, not to just remove the lid
