I suspect Martin would like to have a look at the Yeti setup, to plan what can be activated when theirs arrives. :)

  • Forgot to mention I'd bring my new car but it's not quite finished yet.....     Just need to master the art of welding, getting there slowly...

  • We normally have Taylor and Slotty running about screaming so makes no difference

  • Always welcome, if you cannot find us, ask for table booked in the name of Collins at the bar.       RWD + H2O =

YES PLEASE.   :giggle:

Hopefully I can order my footwell lights.

It can’t come quick enough now as we are a 1 car family for a few weeks now.

(looks like I’m going to be bust tonight... a Fabia, CityGo and Yeti)

Who's first...? Lol...:D

First come first served!  :giggle:

22 peeps turned up today...!!! Thanks to all. It was a good one.

Special thanks to Martin for sorting out the CitiGo...;)

Huge Thanks to Richard for the bigger brakes for my Fabia...!

Excellent turn out , probabaly the biggest since Des xmas dinner meet .

Thank you to all who turned out, it makes me feel the small effort well worth it.

Yes an amazing turn out, I really enjoyed it, and what a massive range of cars, specs, prices etc.

Thank you Uncle Steve for organising it :-)

Great to see everyone again and sorry to those I didn't get round to catching up with x

Thoroughly enjoyable meet, good turn out and good company.

Nice to see everybody, good food and company - and to have a ride in the nutty yeti!

Hope to see you at the next one.

As said, good evening with great company :)

looking forward to the next one.

I was almost accosted by Richard's Yeti VRS on the way home on the A229 slip road off the M20. I don't know whether he was doing a close up ride height comparison or judging whether he could fit the front end of the VRS into the boot of a non-modified one, perhaps as a cheaper way to get to track days.

I'm very grateful that he's fitted those bigger brakes though!!!

He shot past me as soon as we got onto the A229 with a manic Citigo welded to his tailgate.

Is Brands open to the general public on Tuesday as I might pop along to spectate?

Yes it is, drive into the pit area and find me.

It's free.

That wasn't us, I was peddling as hard as I could but we were struggling somewhat up the 229 with a brand new engine, 2 people and 63 bhp. It managed ok once it was in a lower gear but I think it maybe a little high geared for that much power? My furby has similar power but much lower gearing?

I admit i was a bit close to Richard joining the A229 in my Citigo :)

Good turn out, excellent evening. Long route home mind, tunnel was closed for emergency services exercise.

200kg of brake parts in the boot probably didn't help. ;)

Hahahahahahaha...!!! :D

That's a good one Richard. I realised how heavy these are when I had to take them out when I arrived home. That's the reason why my Sport CitiGo didn't feel as fast as on the way to the meet...;)

Yes I remember how heavy the box of brake parts are that's sitting patiently in my shed ..... :wonder:

Well if you hadn't LET ME DOWN and bought mine as promised, that heavy box would only have to have travelled a couple miles wouldn't it? :moon:

But don't worry, I won't mention it again :x it's not as if my whole family is out on the streets now with no money, :'(  I'm sure the kids didn't want to eat anymore this year, :wonder:  they can make that packet of crisps last well between the 12 of them I'm sure..... :giggle:

It's all good.......

Are you on the red wine again?

Is the idea to fit all those brake parts or just tie a rope to them and chuck them overboard when you want to slow down?

Grow up Simon...!

At least you have a house that you can store them 12 in...I have to hide all the time and always on the run due to the Home Office and Interpol looking for me all the time...:D
