hang on' date=' i live about 45mins from silverstone [/quote']

Hey! -- I live 45 minutes away from Silverstone too - are you my next door neighbour?

Its easy once you get up on the Far Cotton roundabout.

Easy for Bengie as he can come straight across the A43 and over the roundabout towards Wooton.

Think I might have to pull out of going oop North this weekend at all now. :(

Got a potential person for my ticket, which won't go to waste.... Gutted to say the least. :(

There will be other times though - Its just TRAX would have been perfect.

bugger, what went wrong J?

Wiring.... OBD2 plug was cut off new internal loom - rest was impeccable, but the ONE PLUG I NEED TO GET THE CAR RUNNING.... [sigh] was missing, leaving me with six bare wires... and the OBD2 on the PD100 loom is different, and has five wires...

Hoping Hills still have the plug, or can help me with the wiring/pin pattern on their other car they have. :)

No! Such a small thing that'll put a hold to the whole thing. Its not fair! Would anyone else have access to one? (I'm sure there are a few breakers yards that would have one, maybe? )

Right so all you need to know is where the extra wire goes into on the OBD2 plug.

sounds like The Man

If the old plug has been cut off though you need the wiring diagram for the vRS plug and the diagram for the PD 100 to work out where the extra wire goes and what it does.

well I'm working Saturday night, but I might pop up for a bit.

i'll be up for this, i dont know the area and i dont know anyone, i think we're just gonna get the cars in to the car park at night so we arent fighting traffic in the morning.

actually just noticed the time, hmm doubt i'll be down before 10pm,

cant leave here til 3pm due to one of my pals working or we'd head earlier

I'm gettign the car ready as we speak....The ferry is first thing Monday morning...

47 miles from me :rubchin:

just under an hour according to AA if i do the speed limits(which i obviously would be  )

might pop along too to say hello :)

Hmmm .... You all seem to be travelling an awfully long way!

Think i've got to be the most local ... 5 miles south of Silverstone, approximately 10 minutes up the A43 :D

Infact anyone coming from the south will drive past my town!

Hmmm .... You all seem to be travelling an awfully long way!
