The bonnet on 32's is absolutely beautiful! I want one! This thread makes me wonder where to start with my Fabia! Need to get the newer headlights put In First! Maybe lower a little then maybe some new alloys! Would love to know where you got the bonnet though!

Thanks daz - the bonnet came through these guys http://www.brr.at/ - it was used, off a rally car P. Sandell was driving.

I know they got more but they are new and expensive. Past the 1.000 pounds mark. Contact them, you never know what you could find.

Anyone know what bumper this is? and were to get one?

That is a custom made bumper off a Golf R. Unless you modify heavily you can't purchase it as is on the photos above.

Thought it looked a bit golf like ...

Was looking at getting mine re-furbed as the amount of stone chips in it and really like the look of that one, looks like it might be more work than anticipated...as ever, thanks for the reply :)

Because I'm always on the look out for cool looking Fabias I think it would be a good idea to create a sort of "database" from where members can draw inspiration for their ride. To set the tone here are some pics - feel free to post whatever you think looks good. Any Fabia MKII will do, no stock stuff please

Anyone know what wheels these are?

I'm not sure they are the right ones, but these XXR 527's look similar.

Having been involved with motorsport and car tuning for more years than I really want to remember I'm at a total loss at the low and wide scene.

I've been to several VW car meets where there have been examples with ultra low suspension (Steel and Air) with ultra stretched rubber. They have all handled very poorly and have needed to be driven slowly and with care over anything other than perfect road surfaces.

So if it's all about style then why do it to remapped vRS's and GTI's etc.

Get 200bhp+ under the bonnet and get left by run of the mill Ford Focus 1.6 down a B Road because 1. You don't have enough suspension travel and 2. The stretched low profiles tramline over every road imperfection meaning you have to fight with the steering constantly.

Take a hot hatch/saloon, map for more power then totally destroy the handling. Like I say, I don't get it.

Cheers

Some people drive at or below national speed limits of 60 mph even if they have 200 bhp or 500 bhp.

& the handling as long as safe really is not an issue.

Some drive like idiots, maybe over the NSL with as little as 69 bhp and totally hopeless tyres

or handling for the conditions.

hello there Lee

I've got air on my vrs and it's the best thing I've done. If you knew how it worked then you would have a different answer! My car still handles as good as before even better... Also I've fitted the rarb on, camber shims and also still got the front arb connected, many people take them off. Also I run a little stretch on the tyres but nothing silly 205 40 17 over an 8 inch wheel. Plus the management I've got does the level cornering where it'll drop one bag a little and pump the opposite side up to keep the car level as you go round the corner.
