Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere that sells both these parts in the uk? I've seen them for sale on the bay but come from Germany with £10 postage each :(

which one squire? i bought a new rear lower engine mounting for mine about a week ago from the skoda dealer and it was about £11 all in, that was a complete assembly too, the metal bracket with the bush pressed in ready to fit

It's the engine mount above the aux belt, following your advise I took the engine mount bolt out and lowered the engine to enable the heater assembley out and noticed the bush had completely detached from the mounting. As for the gearbox, there is about 3/4mm of play in the mount :( not good.

both of those bushes can still be bought new from the skoda dealer, not expensive either, the worst one is the gearbox one becuase you need to unbolt the casting from the end of the gearbox to change it

Ok thanks tom, will get onto the blower tomorrow. As for the gearbox one, ******! Was hoping it would be just a case of jacking it up abit, undo a nut and bolt, swap over and hey presto.
