Have you tried combinations of the above??

The map I would imagine would be the biggest. I'm not sure you can sell that either :P . To have it removed you can send the ECU to Mike and he'll do it so you can maybe save a few

Try shopping around more for insurance, try speaking to darren at Greenlight insurance and say you are a member of Briskoda, they might do a better deal for you.

I've agreed a power figure with them and aslong as I keep the reciepts and inform them of all mods they are happy to let me do what I want.

Shame to hear that, what about the 312mm brakes?

I am paying 2K for insurance with no re-map :(

You can swap ECUs.

If it were viable in theory we could swap ECUs so I had the remapped one, and you had my old standard one? But this relies on my engine running, and also involves both our cars being in the same area at the same time, and someone armed with VAG com to alter both ECUs to work in opposite cars. :)

I might know someone who's had something similar done ;)

My mate had to have it done at Jabba though. Required a little bit of soldering.

Id definitely be interested in the springs if you are getting rid !!

For me, mods are all declared (as per sig), as is the Parrot kit. No impact on my premium at all.

That said I must tell them about the 3 points I guess

That might cost me a little :(
