Thanxs for any help guys?

IMHO the CR is the better car and certainly more modern engine. Good / Bad points; Not too sure really, not found anything particularly bad with either.

What did they have standard on the vrs I've seen some say they have aux plug but on some pics I can't see it?! - The Aux plug is in the central console on my FL.
And did most the vrs come with parking sensors or xenon lamps? - No. From what I've seen very few came with parking or xenon. You can retrofit parking sensors for under £100 and it's quite a simple and neat job. Xenons are a whole can of worms. Genuine xenon projectors will cost you a good few pounds to retro-fit so it's well worth trying to find one with them fitted as standard.
Can satnav be fittind if they don't have one? And did the vrs come with Bluetooth? - Sat Nav can be fitted through the Columbus stereo unit. you can get hold of a good unit for between £300 and £500 used. Quite simple to fit and you can always sell the bolero stereo for about £200.

The vRS Bluetooth was an optional extra and there are a good few cars out there fitted with it. The other cheaper option would be to fit a Bury or Parrot Bluetooth handsfree system. Both are neat and tidy and available for around £150 fitted. To retro-fit the genuine Bluetooth is an expensive job.
Also some I have looked at have different setups of climate control!!?! Some have the knobs u turn and the others looks like little green lights any one know the difference, - Knobs are for Air-conditioning, buttons / green lights are for climate control. The FL generally came with climate whereas the AC / knobs are usually found on older models (I think)

I thought the FL came with rear sensors as standard.

As a 'general' guide, the CR engines came in just before the FL models (mid 2009).

Will 100% check and update if necessary about the sensors though!

Reversing sensors are only standard on the vRS Blackline.

Xenon's are a cost option on all vRS's. The obvious tell tale sign that they are fitted is the headlight washers (colour coded caps under each headlight).

Save up and buy a CR. The PD has issues with its DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The PD170 was replaced by the CR170 in late 2008 so you can pick up early CR's for not a lot of cash now.

I can 100% definitively confirm not all FLs come with sensors. Mine didn't, my mates hasn't, none of the three at work have!!!

I bought my vRS at 3 months old, and it came with Xenons and parking sensors.

...but not as standard.

Well I've had a check and can't see anything about standard fit rear sensors so it would appear that I must have paid for those as well as the front ones. :whew:

I think the rears do come as standard when you pay for the fronts!?

Lol - not quite.

You can't have the fronts without the rears.

In the Nov 2011 brochure the price was £300 or £560.
