Hi Guys,

 

The car has been the same since I bought it so really unsure whether this is normal or not.

 

When I accelerate I get a loud whistle from the turbo which constant all the way through ..

 

Its also very sluggish until the turbo kicks in which is around 3k. Is this normal for the turbo range to be so high?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you have a small boost leak somewhere. Checking all the way from the turbo to the intercooler and back is the only way to narrow that one down.
