I have mk 1 octavia vrs. My car is stalling on startup.. Vag saying engine stopped by immobiliser... Therefore I think my key may be failing.. Any advice on where to get a new key cut and coded in bristol....

yes I was down in Bristol. I should be down again at some point in May but if it's you're only key then i guess you want it sorting asap

Might be the pickup loom for the immobiliser is failing...

could be a few things. Even low voltage through cluster to transponder aerial not giving it enough power to read the transponder chip in the key
