Probably cheaper to buy one for the amount of cars you'll have to carry ;)

I think I am coming with my son.

Does anyone have a web address of "Skoparts International" - I'd like to order a few parts and collect them at the show if possible !

Chris

I'll see how the packing goes for the festival the weekend after and pop along if I can. It'd be good fun for the kids!!

Out of curiosity, is it £8 for kids too? Mine are 2 & 5

Looks like a £1 each fella.

Paul, the chap that runs Skoparts International, is in Czech at the moment but I've made him aware that you're interested in some parts. :)

UPDATE: Anyone who would like any specific part from Skoparts International on Sunday is urged to email your request at the soonest opportunity: [email protected]

Hey I will see if I can get there as looks great though I think Lutterworth might be a bit too far to do as a daytrip but meh says it is two and a bit hours. We will see what the M1 is like I guess but sounds good. I like my old Skodas and East European cars.

Will ColinD or anyone who helps run the site be there - with merchandise or stickers etc ?

Email sent to Paul - thanks for the heads up !

Also - anyone from West Yorkshire going early doors ? - convoy ?

Will be setting off early from Fareham: M27, M3, A34, M40, A43, M1. Any convoy takers? Nice and steady though!

No offence but what will the turnout be like? It does look a bit thin for a long trip tbh. Watching the pennies at the moment and it is either this or a trip to Shelsey Walsh for a hillclinb meet the week after :/

I don't know whereabouts in the country you are, but there's also La Vie En Bleu at Prescott Hill Climb track this weekend which is a brilliant day out.

So other than tyre kicking and one companies stall, there isn't much going on ?

I'm wondering - given the weather forecast - is it worth a 220 mile round trip ?

Chris

I hope we can buy some Skoda Owners Club GB stickers for inside the rear window?

I only got a tax disc holder with my membership pack and I need stickers for a car... or two! :)

I can't say exactly to be honest. I didn't go last year and I won't be there this year either (stupid work) but from all accounts I've seen the turn out has been good and this year looks to be bigger than any previous year.

No there isn't anything else going on as such but that is an intentional decision. We [the Club - I'm a Committee member] have actively tried to keep the event as relaxed as possible. Personally I always find that I don't get much beyond looking round the cars and chatting to people at car shows and as that is the element that most people enjoy it was decided to try and encourage it. There will be a raffle though!

Chris,

It's the Skoda Owners Club day, not a briskoda one. So I'm not there, I knew about this event but it clashes with some personal stuff. Not sure me 'selling' briskoda stuff is wholly appropriate. Although I'm happy to support SOC here and at ours, so maybe it would of been.... we're all owners ;) It's our big meet in August, with tyre kicking as standard and a heap of extras ;)

Should be an easy spot both ways :D

should be a good day out , if the weather holds off.  what time are people getting there i aim to be there around 10am

Last years event had around 70+ Skodas there, hopefully this year will be more. It is a laid back event, more a social gathering, with cars parked up on the grass, and owners free to chat with each other, and have a look around each others cars. There will be a few owners selling various items, there is a small cafe, as well as the house and gardens to have a wander around. I'm hoping the weather is good, but it is a Bank Holiday weekend, so it's bound to rain at some point.
