    A few from me ....

  • There was a few Chavved up stoners who I heard several times throughout the day saying I've never seen so many effin skodas. It would seem we are still safe from the Neanderthals

Don't suppose anyone got a pic or vid Dan? I'm quite keen to see what it looked like from outside of the car

I really enjoyed that session, I was starting to recognise some corners/get lost less :D and find a bit of rythm, it felt a lot faster inside the car than either me or Rob had managed in the Brisky sessions.

I'll ask the missus if she got one, phone was in my pocket most of the day.

To be honest I thought you'd lost it! The crowd pretty much went 'oooooooooo' then were stunned when you sorted it back out! Was pretty close tbh! Bet it was a real brown trouser moment!

lol.. not you sparkly! the GT-R vs "the rest of us" pmsl.....

To be fair the Skoda sessions are fairly brisk.

The open sessions involve fancy sounding cars and the same amount of overtaking and similar (often greater...) speed differences.

It's not really got a lot of rivals that people are willing to throw around on a public track day.

11:45 session.  Went a little bit quicker.

Caution: Contains use of the F word by the passenger... a bit. (and at 1:26 you might just catch the faint noise of a little bit of poo coming out of Sparkly as I pass him)

edited that for you

Yes....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally...!!!!!!!

Next time I'll swear in Polish so no need for editing... :giggle:

Session 1, 10:45am.

5:40 was the only section where i thought "oh no this could end badly"

haha

apart from that brilliant 110% Maximum attack from Richard :D

Session 1, 10:45am.

:( I was hoping to see where you caught up with me on the cool down lap. ;):D

I was hoping to see myself in front for more than 10 yards out of the pitlane.

Nope... :D

I'm waiting for part 2 of the you -vs- Korban battle.

I was sure you were slowly catching him before traffic got involved.

Certainly a good match. :)

I started in front of him in part 2 and left him behind. He wasn't trying too hard due to different factors and left me on the straights in the 1st session. Previous track days have shown Korban leaves me standing when he is trying. :(

If you watch from about 7 mins on your 2nd video, you'll see the gap i made between myself and Korban.

Watching the first session I was sitting here egging you on! :D

thats why I only go on the brisky sessions though, i trust us allot more than the "unknown" of some of the others! lol...

^^^^^^^^^^ this!

Defo going to organise myself early to get the silver estate on track at the next opportunity. Absolutely feel a Brisky-only session would be the safest place to start!

I was having a good chase with rustyp81 in both sessions. Johnny5ive was chasing me well in the second session in his vroomster. His ds2500 brake pads made a huge difference leading to the corners. I had to take my brave pills to get past rusty in the second session as my brakes were losing feel.

I wish my drive recorder worked :(

Let me drive the Citigo-go or the Yeti vRS and there shouldn't be a problem next time!! :D

Meh, the later opens were fine, apart from a verly slow Honda that refused to move over for me (probably saw the skoda badge) from what I saw from the sidelines, midday opens are the ones to avoid.

If you are quite quick, like you were, then the open sessions are not too bad.

The issue I see is when people are a bit slow and have a queue of cars waiting to overtake as you always get someone that gets frustrated and goes for it or drives really close up your trumpet.

Early session and late session definitely have a lot less cars on the track so a good option.

But I generally start to run out of steam by about 3pm.

I had 2 people i thought got a bit too close behind me in the 2nd session and i wasn't exactly crawling. Shame i didn't have my rear camera set up to see if it was as close on camera as it looked in my mirrors.

I couldn't quite catch you on the straights Charlie!!

The vRoomster felt more sprightly this time out, and yes, the DS2500 do allow one to be a little later on the pedal. They do need to be stood on a few times to get the best out of them though.

It made for a brilliant session though. I'll definitely need new pads for the next action day. Not sure if I'll have the new turbo fitted an mapped by then.

It sure did. You'll no doubt leave me standing with a new blower. FMIC next for the Roomy B)

Awesome. My current turbo will need to find a new home too ;)
