Personal DAB for citigo

Featured Replies

hi there first time posting, this is a great forum used it for help with research in a new car. my partner has just bought a citigo sport in place of her old car so she will be posting a lot more than me. I am wondering if you guys could help at all. i know that there is no DAB in the citigo which is a shame and have been looking at the plug in ones but they are so expensive. i however have the idea of getting a personal dab and plugging into the aux in. has anyone tryed this as all please and if so any success? many thanks and sorry about the poor grammar

Where in Yorks are you?

Get a pic and info up about the car too :)

Plug in personal DAB might work, it depends on how strong the signal in your area is. The personal DAB systems use the headphone lead as the aerial, so you'll need a longish lead and not the usual short 3.5mm to 3.5mm cables.

In terms of reception - it is pretty good around most of West Yorkshire as I have one standard on my Passat. I too will be looking at one to put into our Citigo and have been considering one of these... http://www.pure.com/product/highway-300di-vl-61716

if you were creative with a long aux lead, threaded around and up under the a pillar, might be able  mount the P-Dab up by the sunvisor where to get the best signal via the long lead :)
