going back to a Yeti

Featured Replies

Looks like I will have to drive them  to find out which I like best....

Have to admit I don't like the new shape ... and I don't like silver so the second choice is looking unlikely

A 13 plate old style SKODA Yeti 5-Dr 1.6 TDI Elegance GreenLine in Petrol Blue

or

A 14 plate new style SKODA Yeti 5-Dr 1.2 TSI SE Outdoor in Sliver

that was quick :D

The facelift really doesn't look as nice as the original but from what I have read there are a number of improvements & eliminating some of the niggles of the original - plus when you come to sell it it will be worth more.

I have a new shape one - but I really wish I could graft on the face of the older version!

I'm looking at two cars  an elegance greenline , old face and a Se 1.2 petrol , new face... the newer one is £300 cheaper ... but it's petrol and it's silver so I'm still leaning heavily towards the Greenline Elegance in petrol blue

It could depend on what sort of mileage you do. A 1.2 could achieve the same mpg as your current fuelly figure you're getting in the Suberb and cheaper at the pumps compared to the diesel choice. But then again you would have far more power in the diesel.

Many congratulations for coming back to the fold.

I saw my first facelift model on Saturday. In a bright copper colour - very nice!

Even had a toot and a thumbs up from them.

With the amount of stuff in your boot, you'll need the bigger engine I reckon.

Kitchen sink behind the front seats or in a roof box? :)

Great job. Nice colour

You'll be selling this then

At the present time, I doubt that I could go back to such a low car as the Yeti

My Freelander gives me an extra 170mm seat height compared to my old Yeti, and the Yeti would not have gone where I took my Freelander at the weekend.

The Yeti just feels so .... Well, just small and dainty in comparison.

Don't get me wrong, the Yeti is a brilliant car, new shape or old, and I tell everybody I speak to about it, how great it is. That the umpteen reviews of it are all justified.

Maybe when you can get a decent 2" lift kit for it and a few other bits n pieces, I might be tempted back.
