Hi there,

Im looking to make a few adaptions to my Octavia vrs ( 2013)

Would like to make a few adaptions from that thread^.

I myself have no idea how to do it, and wondered if there is anyone out there who would be willing to? I live in Cambridge and im willing to drive around abit to reach you!

Beers are of course on the table, and my gratitude...

If not, any ideas where i could get it done?

Cheers

Jack

I have it.

I too could be interested in this as want some bits & piece's doing to mine & only just down the road in Bury.

I work in mildenhall and live near McDonald's ( Cambridge) Happy to do any alterations, but being a parent means very little time spare! Lol

I haven't actually done any yet, due to not having my car ATM.

I have VCDS 12.12 so it's not the fully up to date version, but works with the chassis.

Connect your laptop to the internet, open VCDS, select Options followed by User Interface and Identification. Click on Check for Updates Now and it will update to 12.2.2. VCDS Beta 14.5.0 is also available for download.

P.S. In the event that your software won't update then you have a counterfeit cable which others may wish not to be used on their cars.

Unfortunately I got conned into buying a clone cable off eBay (advertised as genuine).

Should, hopefully be getting an actual genuine cable by the end if summer, when funding allows.

Which would be a wise investment as the updates are still coming for the MQB platform

Ir is unlikely that your older 12.12 software will cover the MBQ,

not to mention unwise to plug some hacked software into someone else’s car.
