Hey guys!

My name's Brad and I got a new Fabia vRS two weeks ago. Loving it so far. Plan on getting a built in SatNav/Media system that's very much like the original, except... not.

Thinking of remapping too for economy mainly - if you think that helps. I'll ask on the appropriate page.

Welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your car.

A Remap will invalidate your Skoda Warranty,

but if you Dyno the car i think you will find your CTHE engine produces well over 177 bhp.

We do not know of anyone with a CTHE Engine Remapped.

There are several Threads on the subject in the last week in the Fabia 2 Section.

1 with a Mk2 vRS on the Rolling Road last week.

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car.
