I've been trying to complete the two "circuit de le sarthe" 24 hour endurance races, which obviously need to have a competant B spec ability to do, but I get a weird symptom every time I race

a) car doesn't go quick enough even on pace 5, push hard. The Nissan race car I have max's out at 230+mph, but the PC insists on driving down the long straight/s at no more than 210. :confused:

suddenly the comp will give it full right lock and jam the car into the barrier, thereby stopping it and losing very valuable time against well matched competition. I don't why it suddenly jams on right lock and wedges itself in the barrier.

c) on pace 5 it fails to make the sharp bend at the end of the long straight EVERY time. :grumpy: Even on pace 4 it struggles to brake in time.

Anyone done this endurance race yet, and did you have to race in A spec for the whole 24 hours to win it? :eek:

just leave him to it on 3 he'll get there, the other cars do it too if you watch

The other cars are just as fast as my 1100bhp Nissan race car and they're tyres last longer too.... I just cannot seem to find the car to do it right in. :(

isnt the b-spec driver taught to drive by you??? the b-spec equiv on forza the "drivatar" has to be taught to drive and mimics the players driving style....

B spec is just the computer thinking for itself. Not aware it learns from my driving. It wouldn't be as good if it did.

nope, the b spec doesn't learn from you it is just a progressive AI mode where the more it drives the better it gets

Why? Cos your B-Spec driver is too weak a driver to be driving that sort of car. Go do a 24Hr race on B-Spec that should help build his skills up.

another good thing to do is goto practice and set him doing laps of circuits over night with it set to 3x

do a different course/car a night for a week andhis points will be lots higher

nope, its a glitch in the game. if you watch even the actual computer cars do it.
