How do I take this off I thought it just popped off the bolt but it doesn't

try rocking it gently, it will eventually break free.  You need to break the probably corrosion between the spindle and the wiper arm.

Otherwise, a small puller might help out.  I did mine my rocking it though.

If gently gently doesnt work (it didnt with mine) then go hulk on it

Screw the nut back on a few turns & wack it with a hammer. Always worked for me.

Remember there is a circlip holding the spindle into the bush assembly so don't whack it too hard...

Yeah I normally leave a thread or 2 visible on the nut to reduce the risk of damaging the circlip.

Yep, I ruined the wiper linkage on my A8 by hitting it with a hammer and had to buy a whole replacement linkage. If you must hit it then be gentle, but usually just wiggling the arm about when lifted away from the screen should free it off.

Loads if wd40 and then remove the nut and press on the hinge part repeatedly it will come off only ever had 1 BMW where I needed the puller. Even my old a6 allroad come off like this. The pullers are ok but you risk damaging the spindle end.

i rocked mine when they were stuck... slowly slowly releasey wiper.

The pullers are ok but you risk damaging the spindle end.

If you leave the nut on, and let the top of the pullers press against that you should be ok and not damage the spindle.  However gently rocking/wiggling released mine.
