£££?

One or two rear pipes?

Oooohhh, interesting. My vRS will be my 1st diesel so I hope this isn't a daft question but is there the same benefit to fitting a performance system to a Diesel engine?

YES! At last

Interesting to see the cost though.

Hi Nigel,

For the diesel model our system will mirror the OE, when we develop the petrol model later in June we will look at a dual outlet version.

Thanks,

Steve

Wow super happy to super sad in 20 mins. Thanks lol

Unless you go to the trouble of a remap and DPF delete (be pretty mental to do this on a car whilst so new but each to their own) cant see there would be a great deal of benefit. Its not even that a diesel sounds particularly great either exhaust or not.

No remaps available as yet, you'd have to cheat it with a tuning box, gotta agree with though Pipsyp, the diesel don't sound great.

My tsi one is going to miltek on the 16th june for the development so the twin diesel pipes should be just after.

:D fail.

Perhaps someone should tell miltek that a single sided system would be an epic fail, and that dual will likely generate customers for that reason alone!

It seems that you can no longer fail, you have to fail epically. Where's the granularity? Can't you just make everything from a simple indiscretion, to a failure that kills a million people?

My bad.

Do the math.

Etc.

APR are about to release it. Awesome GTI have jusr announced it on facebook. Figures look tasty too.

I'd be happy with a twin pipe back box only to replace the crappy fake outlets.  Is this too much to ask?   :wall:

Its OK, all cars come with an exhaust as standard nowadays. No need for a retrofit. Save your pennies

I'll take a look when its released then, thanks.

Hi All

I agree Miltek seem to be missing a big market. Having an self confessed "exhaust Fetish", which was one of the reasons why I bought my vRS, I then found out via this forum that only was one exhaust outlet was a dummy, I discovered when I picked up my "

Birthday Present" they are both dummies. I was not a happy bunny.

I have looked into having an exhaust made up by "Powerflow", but if Miltek can do one off the shelf. I would put my money their way. I had one of there dual outlet exhausts fitted to my custom Saxo 1.5d and it sounded fantastic. So I hope we all live in hope that they can come up with the goods.

All the best.

Steve

If I must....

Mine was my 50th b'day prezzy to myself (seeing as SWMBO did not get the very unsubtle hints I kept dropping about us needing a new car "have a look at this brochure, dear - yes that blue one IS very nice isn't it!") and I was also quite disappointed with the fake zorsts.

It's not just us, there's a 14 plate Merc hatchback thingy parked in our road, had a look at the back on the way home from a dog walk, yep, fake zorsts!
