An old topic and I have found a solution

Has anyone fitted this kit? Iam a bit worried about having to undo the bonnet fixings to attach the bracket that runs up the bonnet to add strength. Just don’t want to screw up the alinement.

 

Or has anyone found a better way to do or even a better kit?

As above fitted superskoda pair recently piece of cake very powerful struts, same brackets as the milo ones no alinement issues just take your time.

got the superskoda one here aswell was a 5 minute job no aliment issue either. to be honest the strut is very powerfull a bit to strong for the job.

Hi, Got the kit today how did you guys fit the lower ball bracket did you have to drill a whole?

no there is a bolt to be taken off for it no need to drill atall

Cmb they look good but I just don't like that bottom brackets and that would bother me just don't look neat but I definitely like your grill.

This must have been answered before, I just can't find it with the search engine, but as people think these are a bit too powerful for the octy, what's the problem with fitting Leon/TT/Golf/Beetle/etc. struts to an octy? I'm presuming there is one as everyone would just get those I'd have thought?

I've got the right hand side one from superskoda and it works like a dream , touch too powerful but just guild with hand and jobs a Gooden !

Cmb what did you do to fit the right hand strut?
