... 2003 Skoda Octavia Mk1 owner for two months 

 

 

little story ..

 

Google'd "affordable turbo", the Octavia mk1 was in the top 5. Did some reading around here and the web in general ... read really good reviews. Checked MPG and was really impressed for what it was and the fact it was a turbo. That was a big tick for me ... insurance quote was really low ... and reliability not too worry. 

 

Searched online, found a few good ones ... bought a stock silver mk1 (126k + Full Skoda SH + paperwork) from a guy in Fareham.

To be installed >> Uprated SMIC and re-map to be booked with vagtune (Aylesbury)

Update

 

Got the SMIC installed and re-map (road tune) done on Sat.

 

Car is running sweet ... quiet surprise how much of a difference it made  ..  tuner said the car should be running at around 210hp, boost is around 14psi when i checked my OBDII boost guage

 

..might take it on a RR, just to get more accurate numbers.
