Has anyone remapped their Fabia 1.6 TDi?

Featured Replies

If so, how good is it? I'm thinking of getting a Fabia 1.6 TDi Estate (not sure what spec, possibly Elegance) but need more than 105 bhp.

Brimma has I think he got about 140bhp and still has good mpg check out his Fabia build thread!

TY, just read the whole thread. Not much about the re-map though ...

Asked Brimma about his re-map on another thread:

Drives very nicely thanks, which it should having Mk1 vRS power levels in a body which probably weighs less.........I haven't regretted it one bit

I'm also interested and looking in to remaps of the 1.6CR TDi. The tuning box I tried was rubbish awful problematic abysmal even for the cost saving over a proper map.

I've seen a lot of 130ish and a couple of more promising ones for 140. Think revo is the 140.

Please don't forget that peak power figures aren't the be all and end all of a map, it's how it drives which really counts

I get plenty of fun from mine, and can still achieve economy figures in the 60s, sometimes even more

In other words, don't be duped into going for the one which quotes the highest bhp figures
