Fun wheels stolen

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Last weekend my industrial unit in Aylesbury was burgled. Besides kindly relieving me of all my stock, they also stole my wheels and tyres from my fun. Luckily the fun was in the skoda dealer having a service, so they didn't take that.

They were the genuine yellow wheels in great nick with good centre caps.

The odd thing is they stole 3 and left 1 behind.

So if anyone is offered or sees 3 fun wheels, give me a ping?

Cheers!

Scum!

I hope you get them back and they get caught!

Far too much of this popping up recently!

no CCTV?

no alarm?

it's common burglars were tipped off by an insider or a recent client/visitor visually weighed the potential loot.

They got some form of pole or stick and nudged the CCTV so it pointed skywards. Lesson learnt from that! We had only just moved in the unit and had not yet fitted the alarm....again, lesson learnt.

The wheels were actually out of sight, so I don't actually think they were deliberately after them. But you are right, they knew what to take in terms of value, so must have had some idea what was there.

the CCTV cameras are usually hidden/masked for maximum security.

there should not be blind spots too.

otherwise you'd have now a nice frontal record of the thief(ves) aiming at cameras with a stick.

I will keep my eyes and ears open mate as not that far away...
