Like to keep the car clean, real clean, but how do you guys go about cleaning the engine bay?

Exterior is clay barred, sealer, wax on wheels the lot but the engine bay is minging....

 

These guys videos are pretty good, they're based in America so might be hard to get hold of their specific stuff but it gives you a rough idea of how to do it  

You can find Chemical Guys products in the UK/Europe easily plus they got an online shop.

I like to keep on top of it, so every few weeks give it a wipe down with autoglym rapid detailer then finish the plastics off with a spray of vinyl and rubber care.  Never had a need to give it a wash or anything, but if you do, just cover the senstive parts in cling film. Would recommend the AG engine and macine cleaner- give this a spray over everyhing and then rinse off, dry and treat with vinyl and rubber care.

not sure id use cleaners on the engine itself, plastic bits i wipe down and any metal i can get to but i certainly dont spray anything in there inc a hose pipe
