Hi to everyone here on briskoda,..

Would like to thank and congratulate the founders of briskoda, for creating the best owners website I have ever seen.

I have been a proud owner of a late 07 plate Skoda Octavia VRS Fsi (Race Blue) for 2/3 months now.

The car came with 54000 on the clock and a full dealership service history.. and can easily say its the best car i have ever owned and i love it..

I spent hours on this website before commiting to paying £5400 for my pride and joy.

So far all its needed is a new battery (as the original had gave in).

The reason for me signing up now though is that i need help with a exhaust control amber warning light coming on yesterday. (after filling the tank fully and taking my brother in law for a thrash to show off to him my beasty Vrs )

Will post for help in relevant section ..

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!
