Hello,

Got my Octy few days ago, candy white petrol dsg. White looks fantastic on that car, all other color pop up. So far enjoying the car, nice power delivery, feels as fast as my old Megan rs but much more civilized and smooth. Sometimes even to smooth for my liking. so definitely will be ramaped, waiting for a good map now. My oldocty vrs, 200hp one, was mapped with bsr software, felt like a new car after map was flashed. I hope those maps will start to appear soon.

Good car, feels nice to go back to skoda, although after suv feels like I am sitting on the ground:) and someone need to do something with that mode button:) I mean really why so many modes, it should just activate the hardcore one and also put esp to sport.

But anyway planning to enjoy the car and hello to everyone.:)

I like the combo of an RS and a Golf 7 in the background, is it? Considering the same setup!

just got response from our local tuning company, they said bsr and revo remaps will be available already next month. No gain or price estimates yet. I am the first one in the queue:)

What you want is the APR map,......325 bhp on the VRS TSI,.......

325 sounds too much and too optimistic, i think i would go for bsr, they promise 45-50hp gain, that would be enough for me, i am not aiming for some crazy increase, just want to make car a bit sharper.

KiDr, I called BSR HQ in Sweden about 3 weeks ago and at that time they could not give an ETA on the Octavia or Golf 7, but they were in development. Did you speak to them more recently?

just asked local tuner who represents them in finland, they said next month.

Nice looking motor, enjoy the ride.

Oh dear, don't these silly engineers and designers at Skoda realise that their stock engines are capable of so much more?

I wonder why they don't release them all with 325bhp, they'd sell so many that they'd hardly be able keep up with demand. I bet APR, like their competitors can increase mpg too.

Actually, perhaps they've not been designed to run at this level at all and are instead released with a tolerance which assures long term reliability and safety.
