I just wanna know if its the white piece that needs pulling out before removing the rubber seal, because I honestly can not remove them I have used every ounce of what little strength I have and they won't budge and frankly its starting to really pee me off.. any suggestions on what to do? I could take it to Halfords but that's just costing money which I don't want to do

Yes give the white plug a good yank then take the rubber boot off.

A good yank hasn't really worked yet

Hi Hyphons as above they are a very tight fit. don't be affaid to apply some force.

Yes you need to be brutal with them.

Use a flat screwdriver to prise it off. Insert between white plastic plug and bulb. Works a treat as long as you're careful.

Twist the white connector from side to side as well as pulling straight back and both at the same time.  Once you have the first one off then all will be revealed and the second one will be a breeze. B)

Don't pull too hard.

The spring holding the bulb in place can get bent.

Best bet is the screwdriver between the bulb base and connector, but gently does it.

I pulled back the rubber seal, un-latched the bulb from the metal holder clips, then pulled the rubber seal out, as I had un-latched the clips the bulb came with it :)

Then it was nice and straightforward to just pull the white plug out, as I had much more space to work in.

Stiffest bulb holders I've ever experienced, the force required to pull the white plugs out is quite something!

Bulbs are in! A huge massive thank you to Stormchaser (who actually did place the bulbs in for me) :) :)

Feel around the edges of it and push it into place that way

I used a tiny smear of silicone grease around the edge...helps it to slide on and helps to waterproof the seal.

Silicone grease has hundreds of uses around the car and house...couldn't do without it!
