How Many Left.co.uk says 2.5k total but I wonder how many estates are out there?

so if they have continued registering 100-200 a quarter, that will be up.

 

I think 'vrskeith' got a figure from Skoda earlier this year that said how many estates were registered.

less than a quarter i think.

As of the end of February 2014 - approx.418 out of 2680 total

That was near up 200 Registered in 2 months then from December - March.

 

Lots Registered as Demonstrators sitting at Dealers now looking for buyers,

not many Estates though.

Some really amazing low asking prices on new or near new Hatches,

and Dealers prepared to look at offers.

 

Mines a 2012 CTHE estate, bought it in Feb 2013 with 1420mi on the clock, was registered as a demo in August 2012. 

That was near up 200 Registered in 2 months then from December - March.

Interesting to note that Skoda sales forecast for the Octavia vRS MK3 is planned at 65 /35 split hatch/estate.

 

I guess the Octavia lends itself more to familyand pet /business use.

 

However, I'm still surprised at only 15% for the Fabia,as it's a cracking small family or singles estate.

True mate. When I was looking at the estates In oct/nov/dec last year (Autotrader) there were usually between 10/12 for sale. I was waiting and waiting for a black one to come up :-) finally got it in Jan. Spent 5 weeks haggling with the dealers. They finally gave in.

i have yet to pass another vrs estate while driving mine. coming up 3 yrs ownership now.

I really like the estate and knowing there are fewer than 500 in the UK would be another plus in my book - give me something different over Mini-esque ubiquity every time.

Agree mate :-). A like that there are only a small number on the roads. I've seen two vrs estates since owning mine in Jan. A silver one and a red one with black wheels. Both in the midlands.

I need to try and get some pics up of mine :-)

The estate is better proportioned - oo er missus - and I'm a hatch owner.

Less than 500? That's rarer than quite a few hot hatch special editions. I've yet to see another vRS estate in person but know some on here have them.  

It looks like skoda Cardiff have finally shifted their yellow fab vrs estate that was for sale. It was reduced to just under 10k was pretty much fully loaded too. Satnav, climate, Bluetooth and rear sensors I think. It was up for months and months. Think it might have been the colour putting some people off.

Estates rule. Nothing cooler than a small hot estate! :-)

Yup, it's tough (colour/spec) took me months to sort things out in my head. I went to look at a few and just wasn't sure on the colour. Got there in the end although I took quite a hit on spec with mine but the wheels and colour are spot on for me so very happy. My extras include rear sensors and bluetooth which was a must for me. Black pack on mine although think this comes as standard now. Apart from that, can't think what other extras it has.

To be fair, most of the extras I want, I can retrofit so pretty good really. Satnav is around 300/400 on eBay, armrest official is around 130 mark which is think is ridiculous but can get one off eBay fairly cheap (not sure how good). Cruise control can be done but again, looking at around 250/300 I believe.

Then just small extras like underseat storage and sunglasses holder are on my list. Relatively cheap to do :-)

Aye, I'm already thinking about some retrofits and subtle mods I'd like to make, mostly little things like badges, sat nav systems etc.

I hope I can get the deal done, I've got another thread open where I'm asking for a bit of advice, so feel free to pop along and help!

Race Blue July 2012 Estate here too - about to hit an auction house somewhere in a couple of weeks time..

 

Parked in Morrisons yesterday there were 3 Race Blue Fabia vRS and one (mine) was an Estate (plus a black hatch).  Never seen that many in one place - not even at a dealers!  Was there a meet in Stoke?
