Really?

Top Gear did the test with Clarkson at the wheel I believe, AND IT SURPRISED HIM!

Bought my first one,a 3moth old demo, owners wife's car,it was a cracker in 2003.

Could still be, with 150 bhp in MK3.

I remember watching that at the time. Wonder if that fabia is on here or has been

Well I'll thank you for that, even if our friend up there ^^^ seemingly doesn't appreciate it............ yawn.  :dull:

I hadn't actually seen that clip before either believe it or not!  :D

Oh come on!

I had to download it on stone tablets to watch it's so old.

So old that Hamster hadn't learned to drive properly because he was too used to being ferried around by his mum/wife in a chelsea tractor.

The Mini should have pee'd all over it since brakes and handling are what really count on a track.

Well I'm certainly NOT bragging here, and I probably did have an advantage of knowing the old Ty Croes circuit very well, but in a competitive sprint that I did as part of the ANWCC championship back in 2005, my re-mapped (178) Fabia vRS that I had then, just beat a Cooper 'S' Works on every run until the last one of the day, when he beat me by just under 1 second.

I was running standard suspension and brakes btw.

Yea yea yea, I know, he was probably a crap driver.

Looks better now lol

i had never seen that before!

"this thing rolls about a lot". Yes, yes it does  :D

Yep but same lard arse later decides to put it on the uncool wall.

Take TG with a pinch of salt me thinks, the car itself really didn't need any help from Clarkson. Now theres a yawn warranted if ever there was one (not for the car, just for the fact its TG).
