Octy 2008 tdi - larger Calipers + Discs that bolts straight on

Featured Replies

Hi guys as above really

I have a 2.0tdi estate standard and will be getting some power upgrades soon hopefully so wanted some slightly better brakes

I have heard the S3 brakes go straight on, but i wanted back and front if poss, or audi A3 3.2 V6 brakes also fit

Any help much appreciated and links also if you can

All the best guys!

I've got Golf R32 front brakes on mine which are 345mm, they were bolt on I just needed a 10mm spacer to move the wheels off the calipers. What size brakes do you have at the moment?

probably not worth it, my 330d 282bhp 644nm used 340mm discs all round and they were bloody great

RS  / Golf GTI brakes fit.  On the front you just need the caliper carrier & the rotor.  Re-use the original caliper which means you don't even have to crack the hydraulics or bleed the brakes.

Plenty o threads about BBKs already...

TTRS kit is Bolt on but requires atleast 18" wheels and even then is a little picky with ET...

a TDI isnt really going to need anymore braking power than an S3, unless you tune the bejesus out of it. S3 is 265hp stock.
