Was it a 3 door?

That's why I bought a 5 door, the seat belt pivot is much further forwards due to the smaller doors, so the belt doesn't press on you anywhere near as much.

I also thought mine had electric mirrors, but can't really remember.  It was an Elegance.

They are electric/heated mirrors on the Elegance. Can't see what the problem would be with the knob, it does it's job.

I like the high seating position in the Citigo, you seem like you are sitting in a much larger car. The seat belts hold you very firmly, I'm about the right height for them so no probs.

Are mirrors really a deal breaker? I adjusted them when I got the car and... that was it. My wife occasionally drives the car but she "manages" without having to move them.

As for the seat belt thing. Part of the reason I went for the five door is because of that. I find that a problem in most 3 door cars.

I am very biased toward the Citigo. I got in another B-road blast last weekend and I wouldn't swap it for anything in the world right now. Swapping cogs is addictive fun, and the seats whilst not the most side bolstered in the world hug me real good. It reminds me of my old XR2 - right down to the bare metal on the inside of the doors :)

Mirrors weren't a deal breaker but when build date was requested for the Monte I specced it was 5/6 months & that was a deal breaker!!! So I've given alternative colour choices & spec but decided to go for a Elegance with as many extras as is possible if it can be quicker delivery?

Edit:- I still can't start a new topic in the Citigo forum for some reason??
