I have started compelling my mileages into fuelly but until that is over a sufficient period to be worthwhile, here are the car's calculations.

She is a diamond mate wouldn't swap her for anyone else

I'm on just over 53mpg after the first 4k miles in a 2.0 TDI Elegance estate. Very happy with that.

I think I must've been sold a pup.

I had the perfect drive today, straight flat motorway, 40 miles with cruise set at 68 (which is much more economical than 70 according to the display) and my mpg was 54.

Cruise control isn't the best for economy, although I still manage 60-odd with it on at about the same speed.

I tend not to use Sport mode due to the fact that I spend most of my time in traffic.  I am one of those annoying ****ers who leaves a bit of a gap so I'm not constantly alternating between throttle and brake.

My car does get regular use (despite the 10k PCP deal :peek:  ) so I'm already at 5k which probably helps too!

Well...In addition to my post above I have just achieved my lowest MPG......35!

Not dissapointed in the slightest though as it was the most enjoyable 350 miles out of a tank I've ever had. Very impressed that even driving it as hard as I can I can still achieve 35mpg.
