...it more or less means 'Hi there!'

 

I'm a fresh Skoda owner from the central parts of Sweden, about 150 km north of Stockholm.

 

About a week ago I took delivery of my brand new car, a 2014 Superb II Elegance Estate 2,0 TDI 170 hp.

It's Amethyst Purple-metallic with black cloth interior. 

In the "gadgetdepartment" it has got Columbus navigation, Bluetooth, Kessy, electric tail gate, Park assist etc.

 

So far I'm very pleased, can't wait to go my first long trip.

I sure did consider it, but since this is a car that I lease via my employer I had to follow some rules. One was about the amount of CO2 the car was allowed to emit, the limit set is 130 g/km and the 4x4 is over that.

I understand now. I had visions of everyone in Sweden needing cars with 4X4 transmission in winter to cope with snow. But that could be because I have been watching too many episodes of Wallander...
