Then it's been cleaned previously. Never have I taken a inlet manifold off a car with an egr valve attached that runs through it and it's been "spotless"

My vrs manifold with exactly 90,000 was removed recently and took two days sitting in a parts washer to clean up.

Also running elephant mod. That is pre boost as well so quite far back on the intake system.

I'd say it's more egr related as I'm still running an egr valve to keep the asv.

nope, not excessive amount of smoke as far as I can see, I cant see the back of it when im driving it though :p haha

Also worth checking over all your vaccum lines ect

you can make or buy a blanking plate to blank the egr tunnel but leave the valve in place. Then just map out the egr ;) that is what ive done
