I have owned a 1.4 TSI Yeti for 22 months. Having only recently discovered this forum thought it worthwhile to learn from other followers of the Brand!

I have driven some 11475 miles, mainly journeys of 30miles or so, and have achieved approx 39 mpg avarage. Is this likely to be as good as it gets?

Nice to see a 1.4 TSI owner here - it seems to be a pretty rare beast. As to the mpg that sounds good to me. My diesel 170 has only managed 2 mpg more than that, over 27K, though I do a lot of very short journeys.
