problem with the skoda octavia tdi 1.6 diesil DSG gearbox. suddenly start flashig PRNDS and a spanner flashing on the screen. my local garage checked it on computer, it was reading DSG gearbox hydrolic pump fualty

As its within Skoda warranty, don't mess about with local mechanics, straight to the dealer, probably by Skoda Assist if its undriveable. Especially as this will likely be very expensive otherwise.
