Notchy Gear Changes

Featured Replies

Driving a Leon FR184 and it's the same from 1st to 2nd when cold - feels downright nasty sometimes. It's great once warmed up though. My MK II VRS was the same when cold.

Certainly not as good as my last car 2.0TDi Mondeo 6spd.

There have been instances where I've virtually had to drag it out of first gear.

I remember my test drive with 6 speed manual, it was little notchy between 5th and 6th gear, but nothing to write home about I guess..

Dsg has similiar problems sometimes when you floor it:  "Should I stay or should I go"

Nothing is perfect :p

Yes I second that comment! (If the car will let me lol)
