Bug cleaning

Featured Replies

Who can recommend a bug cleaner that works ( for car paintwork ), tried some turtle wax stuff but it failed to clean the well stuck ones.

ive had the same, but one thing i did hear, could have been on this forum, is that if you wet a newspaper and drape it over the area where the bugs are stuck on, and go and have a cup of tea, when you come back they are pretty easy to remove.

Other than that i use Autoglym Bug Remover

I use turtle wax bug wipes if I cant be arsed to wet and wash it properly... Seem to do a good job...?

Yep , damp kitchen roll will help shift them.

I do that to get them off my crash helmet.

For a more hi-tech solution a clay bar will shift them as well.

Try that tonight after work, thanks

A meshed sponge works for me.

Just get them wet and keep wetting them till they eventually come off
